The 100-foot Mayor’s Christmas Tree arrives to Crown Center for the 47th consecutive holiday season on Thursday, Oct. 31. The tree, a freshly cut Douglas Fir, will arrive to its final destination in Crown Center Square at approximately 9 a.m., concluding a 2,000-mile journey from Cascade Timber Consulting in Sweet Home, Oregon. The public is welcome to join Kansas City, Missouri Mayor Quinton Lucas, who will be on site, to commence this Kansas City holiday tradition.
The Mayor’s Christmas Tree will be on display through Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020. The annual Mayor’s Christmas Tree lighting is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 29 at 5:30 p.m.
Parking for Crown Center Square is available at 25th Street and Grand Blvd. Three hours of free parking is available with validation.
