Barenaked Ladies
Barenaked Ladies will bring their “Last Summer on Earth 2018” Tour to Starlight Theatre on Saturday, June 2. Special guests are Better Than Ezra and KT Tunstall.
Barenaked Ladies’ 15th studio album, FAKE NUDES, premiered via the Huffington Post on Nov. 13. The Canadian band’s most dynamic work to date, the new album builds off their harmony-rich hybrid of folk and pop/rock and pushes into more eclectic sonic terrain. It is available Nov. 17 on Vanguard Records.
“2018 is going to be a blast, because we’re touring with friends,” said Ed Robertson, the band’s lead singer, guitarist and songwriter. “Kevin Griffin from Better Than Ezra has been a songwriting collaborator for almost a decade, and KT and I rocked together in Yukon Kornelius. This is going to be a great tour with lots of collaboration!”
Barenaked Ladies formed in Ontario, Canada, in the late 1980s. Still together after three decades, their accomplishments include record sales of more than 14 million worldwide, eight Juno Awards and earned multiple Grammy Award nominations.
With each ticket purchased to the “Last Summer on Earth” Tour, fans will receive a download of FAKE NUDES.
