Celebrating Urban Birds

Celebrating Urban Birds (CUB) invites the public to share information with the Cornell University Ornithology Lab.  Scientists hope to learn more about how birds survive in cities -- and how they use urban green spaces such as parks, rooftop gardens, and even potted plants on balconies for food, resting sites, and shelter.  Talks about the 15 species designated as ‘urban birds’ by Cornell, bird walk led by a naturalist, artifacts and a kid’s bird walk all entertain our visitors.  Kids make a craft to take home.
