The Children's Literature Festival in Warrensburg, MO is the longest-running children's literature festival in the United States, celebrating its 51st year in 2019. Thirty-two amazing authors and illustrators come from all across the United States to present to children (grades 3-10) and adults about their work. A Sunday Luncheon starts the Festival off with a special speaker. This year's speaker is award-winning illustrator, E.B. Lewis. Book signings follow the luncheon. Books are available for sale throughout the Festival. Monday and Tuesday are filled with presenter sessions that run from 9am to 2pm. Thousands of school children from across Missouri and beyond look forward to this annual event. New this year: a bookmark contest and photo scavenger hunt! Registration opens January 11.
