Kids Class: Summer Cooking Skills

We will learn the methods of cooking most commonly used in summer—sautéing, grilling, & frying. Then we’ll learn sous-vide—a really cool way of cooking meat or veggies in water using very low temperatures.
Skills taught:
- Saute, grilling, frying, & sous-vide
- Knife skills
- Identifying cuts of meat and vegetables
- Cooking in a cast iron skillet
Class taught by Sean Price.
Ages 9 and up. Registration for this class will close 48 hours prior to the event.
Kearney Culinary Academy adheres to a strict minimum class capacity rule. Classes with less than 8 participants will be cancelled or rescheduled for a later date. Participants will be notified at least 48 hours in advance and offered a refund or credit for an alternative class.
