In 2020, the League of Women Voters celebrates its centennial. Join us to recognize our past struggles, celebrate our many successes and continue our outreach!
The featured speaker will be Rosie Rios. Ms. Rios was the 43rd Treasurer of the United States. Rios is currently leading Empowerment 2020, a movement that focuses on the recognition of historic American women, It provides a collective voice advocating for women in senior leadership positions and investment programs for both women and girls.
This event will recognize the women that risked so much to gain the vote. We stand on their shoulders as we continue to make democracy work. Therefore, this event will set the stage for vibrant growth over the next century. We will inspire a new generation of leaders with a passion for active participation in government.
