Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Shawnee Town 1929 will be closed to the public through April 23rd. In addition, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel all of our scheduled programs through June 1st. We hope you understand that our decision did not come easily. Belgian Raisin Bread in Hart-Decaeny kitchen
Join us in our historic Hart-DeCaeny Farmhouse kitchen for a raisin bread-making demonstration. Using our 1920’s-style wood-burning cook stove, museum staff will demonstrate how to make a favorite of Belgian immigrants who lived in Shawnee in the 1920’s. Smells and samples included in this demonstration!
