Join us to celebrate the repair and resurrection of the oldest surviving 4-manual Skinner organ which has not been tonally or mechanically modified by anyone other than E.M. Skinner himself: Grand Avenue Temple's own Schoellkopf Memorial Organ. Monday, May 7 at 7:30 pm at 205 E. 9thSt. in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Featuring celebrated organists Frederick Hohman Organ virtuoso, recording artist, and on-line personality in “Lessons for the New Organist,”Jan Kraybill Concert artist; Conservator, Kauffman Center Organ; Organist-in-Residence, Community of Christ Temple, Kevin Kissinger Recitalist; Staff Organist, Community of Christ Temple; Technician, Quimby Pipe Organs Paul Meier, Director of Music at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, Kansas City. Also featuring the UMKC Conservatory French Horn Choir. Admission is free, but donations to help preserve and restore the organ are appreciated!
