Wilma's Birthday Party

Wilma’s Birthday Party gives our visitors a chance to wish Wilma, the Ornate Box Turtle, a happy birthday.  She is the oldest person at Lakeside (she’s ninety at least) and her enclosure is one of the first things you see when you enter the Center.  Join us and learn about turtles, snakes, lizards, frogs and salamanders.  You can make a take-home craft, get a tattoo and eat a piece of birthday cake.  There’s even a scavenger hunt; if you find all the reptiles and amphibians on the list, you will get a prize.
