Christmas at Silver Dollar City: This 1880s-style park’s “An Old Time Christmas” event features the largest concentration of lights in Branson … 6.5 million to be exact! Between November 6 and December 30, visitors can stroll among the incredible displays of twinkling lights while enjoying live holiday shows, eating seasonal foods, and checking out the wares of the park’s demonstrating craftsmen. The two-month-long holiday event boasts some impressive statistics such as over 6.5 million lights (that’s 680 miles of brilliance!), 1,000 decorated Christmas trees, 600wreaths, and over 3 miles of garland and ribbon. Christmas In Midtown bursts with the colors of 1.5 million LED lighted tunnels and displays up to 9 stories.

The real reason for the joyous season is revealed in dramatic fashion by the angel Gabriel in this thrilling musical account of the greatest story ever told. The nearly Half-Million Dollar Production features a cast of 12 singers and dancers and a live 4-piece band performing over 28 songs (including an original song created just for Silver Dollar City) during 6 distinct Christmas scenes that reminds us all why this time of year is so special. From classic traditions like tree-trimming and a peek into Santa’s workshop to a salute to those that serve abroad during the holidays and a reminder of the real reason for the season…it’s 45-minutes of non-stop Christmas cheer!
