Christmas at Legends Outlets

Legends Outlets is excited to announce its save-the-date schedule for the 2021 holiday season. Returning to Kansas City’s premier outlet center this November is the Legendary Tree Lighting on Saturday, Nov. 13, and Black Friday shopping event on Nov. 26. Legends Outlets will again close on Thursday, Nov. 25, for Thanksgiving.

Holidays at Legends Outlets:

Christmas Tree Light Show

• When: Nov. 13 – early Jan., 2022 (during center hours)
• Where: The Civic Courtyard Fountain
• Legends Outlets’ 45-foot holiday tree is also getting an upgrade this year with new lights and more than 2,000 ornaments. Still synchronized to music, the holiday tree and center-wide light display will continue to brighten spirits until early January 2022.

16^th Annual Legendary Tree Lighting: Saturday, Nov. 13, 5-8 p.m. The Legendary Tree Lighting returns to Legends Outlets for its 16^th annual celebration on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. Shoppers are invited to kick off the holiday season with a live concert, text-to-win prize giveaways, complimentary hot cocoa, fun photo opportunities, special holiday deals, and family-friendly activities including face painting, balloon animals, roaming character appearances, photos with Santa, and more. The lighting of the tree will take place in the Center Courtyard at approximately 6 p.m., but festivities will continue until 8 p.m.

Black Friday Shopping: Friday, Nov. 26, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

Legends Outlets is officially closed on Thursday, Nov. 25, for Thanksgiving, and will open at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, for Black Friday shopping and all-day sales. Black Friday shoppers can enjoy steep savings at the region’s widest selection of brand-name outlet stores in one location – nearly 75 – including the first-area Vera Bradley Factory Outlet and Tory Burch Outlet, PUMA, Kate Spade Outlet, Michael Kors Outlet, J. Crew Factory, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Nike Factory Store, and more, making holiday shopping easy and convenient for everyone this season. 

In addition to special savings, Black Friday will include prize giveaways, fun photo opportunities, holiday movie screenings on The Lawn, and more, with some activities extending into the weekend.

• Sunday: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

• Saturday, Dec. 18 – Thursday, Dec. 23: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

• Thursday, Nov. 25 (Thanksgiving): CLOSED
• Friday, Nov. 26 (Black Friday): 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
• Friday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve): 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Saturday, Dec. 25 (Christmas): CLOSED
• Friday, Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve): 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
• Saturday, Jan 1 (New Year’s Day): 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Legends Outlets is here to add warmth and cheer to your winter with bright, festive décor and photo backdrops.  Our 45-foot holiday tree is getting an upgrade this year with new lights and the addition of more than 2,000 ornaments – the perfect background for your next family photo! Festive photo opportunities are happening throughout the season and include Santa’s Sleigh, which is stationed in The Lawn. Climb aboard for some selfies or visit one of the winter window scenes around the center to snap those Insta-worthy photos.

Letters to Santa

Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is a………….!? Santa’s elves are teaming up with Legends Outlets again to make sure Santa receives your child’s wish list! Children are invited to drop their letters in Santa’s mailbox, which is headed for the North Pole (so no stamp is needed). Don’t forget to include a return address so Santa can write back! Santa’s mailbox is located near the AMC entrance and will remain available until Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021.
