Tis the Season to be Crafty

by

What is more fun than a family craft night? Here are four easy Christmas crafts that kids of all ages are guaranteed to love.

Tiny Stockings

Cut two small stocking shapes out of felt. Glue them together around the edges, leaving the top open. Decorate with more felt shapes and attach a felt loop with glue.  Fill with tiny treasures!

Pom-Pom Gift Wrap

Wrap your gift with plain brown or white gift wrap. Stick pom-poms all over the gift with dots of glue. Tie a ribbon or string around the package for the finishing touch.

Paint Chip Tree Gift Tags

Pick up some paint chips at your local hardware store and cut into triangles. Using glue, attach a loop of ribbon on the back and top the trees with small buttons.

Tube Sock Snowman

Fill a white tube sock about halfway with stuffing. Tie a string or ribbon around the top to secure then cut off any excess. Tie a piece of fabric or ribbon one third of the way down the sock to create the head and a scarf. Glue on buttons for eyes and the nose. If desired, cut off the end of a contrasting sock to make a hat.
