This year, celebrate with traditional events including the Kansas City Repertory Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol, a visit with Santa at Crown Center and the Kansas City Ballet's The Nutcracker as well as new events the entire family will love including Santa's Gingerbread Station at Crown Center, living nativities, live shows, and festivals. The great-great grandson of Charles Dickens is returning to MCPL for a special engagement. A professional actor in England, the energetic Gerald Dickens leaps, laughs, and sobs as he portrays the voices of "A Christmas Carol." His striking resemblance to his great-great-grandfather and his dramatic rendition of "A Christmas Carol" bring the classic to life. Refreshments will be served. THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER! Nov. 24 – Dec. 26 at H&R Block City Stage, Union Station, 30 W. Pershing Rd, Kansas City, MO. $10 individual; $5.50 group of 15 or more. The Herdman kids are a rough and tumble bunch who create mayhem wherever they go.
