Yep, the above is from that Barney, the big purple dinosaur. While I have managed to wipe most of Barney and his show from my memory, that song has stuck with me through the years. It’s no surprise to me that I’ve remembered those lyrics because I am a big believer in manners. Yes, please and thank you are important, but in my book so are thank you notes, looking people in the eye when speaking to them and standing when a child is introduced to an adult.
