Cedar Cove is a non-profit animal refuge for a variety of Big Cats. They preserve endangered Big Cats and rescue them. At Cedar Cove, you will see Leopards, Cougars, Wolves, Bobcats, a White Tiger, Black Leopards, Wolves, and Caracals. The staff know the animals intimately and share detailed information about each one, including the behavior, habits and background of each cat. The staff work toward the goal to ensure that all the felines at the facility are maintained in a stress-free environment and are not exploited. On a daily basis, each and every animal at the park is given one-on-one attention so as to enhance and enrich its life and to make the animal comfortable.

Cedar Cove is located on four miles east of Louisburg, Kansas, 3783 K-68 Highway,  approximately 20 miles south of Kansas City on US Highway 69. Note: This outing is best for children in grade school and up. Preschoolers do lose interest after a while (though they enjoy seeing the animals).
