Craft Corner

Grandparents Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate those awesome grandparents than a homemade coffee mug from your crew!  Add a side of their favorite coffee beans and you are all set!

Supplies:

Directions:

  1. Decide on the pattern for your mug. We chose to do names, as well as some freehand designs.
  2. If using stickers, place stickers onto your mug.
  3. Color your mug.
  4. Allow to air dry.
  5. Remove stickers.
  6. With adult supervision, bake mugs on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Allow to cool on cookie sheet.
  7. For long-lasting results, hand wash.

Tip:

If you have any sticky residue from the stickers on the mug, use a baby wipe to clean the sticky off. But be careful—the baby wipe will also take off the Sharpie prior to baking.
