The Independence Aquatic Center features a giant water slides, a tube slide and a water playground perfect for children with slides, dump buckets and more. The lazy river is a highlight of the facility where families can float in innertubes along the river with waterfalls. The facility also has a complete concession stand with grilled items, healthy food, drinks and other snacks.

Blue Springs Centennial Pool Plex

Includes both an outdoor and an indoor area perfect for planning pool days regardless of the weather. An indoor six-lane 25-yard pool features a shallow play area as well as a diving area complete with a one-meter diving board. The eight-lane 50-meter outdoor pool has a set of water slides. There is also an outdoor zero-depth entry wading pool with water-spraying toys and “rocking” jet skis for younger swimmers.

Leawood Aquatic Center

LAC is a large and popular area complex with olympic-sized lap pool, a large water slide, diving boards and a zero-depth entry pool with waterfalls and other interactive playthings for younger children. There is also ample deck space and chairs for parents and sunbathers.

Meadowmere Pool

Located in Grandview, this facility includes a “Wet ‘n’ Wild” body slide, two large tube slides, a diving board, a geyser field and a children’s wading pool. In addition to aquatics, Meadowmere also has volleyball courts, chaise lounge chairs and a 6-foot by 20-foot climbing wall.

Merriam Aquatic Center

Zero depth pool features small slide for toddlers, larger slide for older children, water jets, three water riders, a floating water octopus and a large dolphin fountain in the center of it all. There is also one open flume slide and one enclosed tube slide for older children to enjoy. In addition, there is a 50-meter pool with two diving boards and lap lanes. The pools are also available for rental.

Prairie Village Pool

A popular aquatic center that features a full-size lap pool, an adults-only pool, and a large leisure pool with zero-depth entry. The facility also includes two water slides, a wading pool for children ages 6 and under and a diving board area with a diving pool. In addition, there is also a large pool deck and grass sunning area as well as a snack bar. The pool is available for party rental evenings after 8:30 pm.

Roeland Park Aquatic Center

Area pool updated to have more of a “theme park” atmosphere. In addition to a 50-meter main pool complete with lap lanes, the facility now includes a 120-foot water slide, an extra wide group slide, a Vortex Pool for inner tubes and a concrete volcano that sporadically erupts. There is also a separate youth pool with a slide and “lemon drop” sprayers.

Splash Cove at the Jim Allen Aquatic Center

A Shawnee area facility that is perfect for younger children. It includes a mini wave pool, 125-foot body slide, and large interactive water playground. There is also an instructional pool, swimming lessons, a party cabana, and Internet WiFi available.

Raytown's aquatic center features a three-person water slide, tube slides, water wars, pebble beach, zero-entry play area for chidlren, and more. The facility also has a complete concession stand available.

Lee’s Summit aquatic center opened in July 2008 that features a body slide, tube slide, lazy river and six-lane lap pool complete with diving boards. Family water park featuring two water slides, a large lazy river, a vortex pool, two splash playgrounds and a zero depth entry pool with interactive playthings. There is also an Olympic-sized 50-meter pool.

Large aquatic facility located in Overland Park, KS. Boasts numerous slides, zero depth entry pools, fountains and shade structures. There is also a rentable picnic shelter perfect for birthdays and other events.
