3-2-1 Cake

Have you heard about this fun recipe? I saw something about cake in a mug on Pinterest, but I pretty much skip over the chocolatey goodness as a policy when surfing for crafts or interiors. But yesterday, Gracie’s afternoon nanny, Miss Emily, brought us the yummiest treat!

It came in a mason jar and she wrote the recipe right on the lid! All you have to do is take 3 tablespoons of the dry ingredients and put it in a coffee mug. Then add 2 tablespoons of water, stir, and microwave for a minute! Seriously, that’s it! It comes out all fluffy like cake!

To make the mix? Emily said hers was just a German Chocolate Cake Mix combined with an Angel Food Cake Mix. Isn’t that outstanding!? So simple! After scouring Pinterest, apparently you can really mix Angel Food Cake Mix with any other cake mix, and voila! 3-2-1 Cake! (I have my eye on a strawberry one).

Doesn’t that make an excellent gift for a busy mom? Just mix it up and give it in a mason jar with the recipe on top and anytime your family is antsy for a sweet treat you can make up this delicious cake in no time!
