Awesome Tips for LEGO KidsFest®

by

We had the pleasure of taking our kids to opening night of LEGO KidsFest® at Bartle Hall  (May 13-15) and we had a blast!!! Our LEGO loving crew had a terrific time and we eagerly recommend that other families enjoy this event this weekend. The one-of-a-kind interactive experiences and creative fun was fabulous and it inspired us to go home and enjoy even more fun with LEGO.

These are a few snaps of our adventures and some hot tips so you can make the most of your experience when you head to the festival this weekend. First tip? When you arrive, parking is $8 and cash only, so come prepared. You may also want to bring money for Dippin' Dots, pizza and concessions (a few menu items included: Kid's Meals $6.50, Burgers $6.50, Chicken Tenders & Fries $9.50, Nachos $5, Soda $3.50-5.00, Bottled Water $4). And, there are lots of fun giveaways and prizes - bring a bag too for all your goodies (they didn't provide bags).

We loved all of the creative LEGO sculptures throughout - these made for great photo ops and lots of oohs and aahs from our kids!

Cinderella's Glass Slipper LEGO sculpture was a crowd favorite!

Lightning McQueen was another fave!

Our kids LOVED the Challenge Zone at LEGO KidsFest® at Bartle Hall! They give you a challenge and you have to make it in about 5 minutes. This time they had to make their favorite cupcake. Don't miss this fun challenge.

At LEGO KidsFest® at Bartle Hall don't miss Lego Star Wars relay race to make a creation. Each person has a picture of the piece they have to get to make it.

Kids loved watching LEGO movies (while parents grab a bite)!

My favorite souvenir was the  free photo print out! It was so cool to get a photo in these fun scenes.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed LEGO KidsFest® at Bartle Hall and we hope your family does too! Comment below and share your experiences at LEGO KidsFest® at Bartle Hall with us.
