Black Friday has Become a Week of Crazy Deals!

I have never been a Black Friday shopper (growing up an hour from the nearest mall or Target makes it hard to get out to shop first thing in the morning the day after Thanksgiving).  But I seem to remember that in years past Black Friday was just a regular shopping day with more deals.  Then it evolved into stores opening at 5:00 a.m.   Then it turned into stores opening at midnight or even ON Thanksgiving.  Now it's pretty much a deals free-for-all all week long.  I'm not complaining.  I would much rather get my good deals today or on Tuesday afternoon than at 3:00 a.m. on Friday morning!

Case in point...starting yesterday and continuing through Wednesday Old Navy is offering a certain bunch of items in their stores at 75% off.  Today it was adult sweaters, tomorrow (Monday) it will be adult graphic t-shirts.  Target has a whole slew of deals leading up to Thanksgiving including a Nintendo 3Ds at the lowest price I've seen this year.  Amazon has a whole week of "Black Friday Deals" ranging from DVDs for $1.99 to big ticket items at huge markdowns (most deals on Amazon will be "Lightning Deals" that only last a couple of hours or until they sell out, which could be in a few seconds for some items).

So my point here is watch your inbox this week and keep your eye out for sales all week long!  So that way if you are like me and want to sleep in on Friday you can have visions of the good deals you got earlier this week dancing in your heads!
