Friday Night Fun

   It's Friday! Woot! Woot! I love the weekend and as you may know from earlier posts, I believe less is more, so we typically don't have games or practices to hustle to and from on Saturday or Sunday. One thing I love is our Friday night tradition. We began several years ago, and keep at it to this day. It's really quite simple. Every Friday is pizza and movie night. We all change into our jammies and snuggle in our bed. Ty brings home pizza and together we choose a movie to watch. We've seen some winners (Dolphin Tale and The Little Rascals) and some losers (Hatching Pete).

   We've taken it to a new level this year-we are trying a different pizza spot each week. Used to be that we picked up Mafia Mikes each Friday (Ty's fave) but we are expanding our horizons. We've love George's and Imo's; the pizza from Old Shawnee pizza was a bit disappointing. The dipping sauce from Papa John's gets two thumbs up, as does the S'mores pizza from Papa Murphy's. You can never go wrong with Minsky's, Papa Keno's or D'Bronx (Ty and I actually polished off an entire large pizza from D'Bronx by ourselves!). I  need some recommendations on pizza joints to try. What is your favorite? Also, always looking for great family-friendly movie titles, so if you've seen any good ones recently, let me know.
