KC Parent Celebrates Success!

Spring is an exciting season for KC Baby Magazine, KC Parent Magazine, and KCParent.com. We belong to the national Parenting Publications of America and recently competed in their annual 2010 awards. With more than 110 magazines and websites competing all around the country, KC Parent brought home nine prestigious awards including two Gold, five Silver and two Bronze awards! The highlights:

KCParent.com won Gold for Best Website Content with judges saying, “KCParent.com had the best updated local news of any site in this category and it is a great place for parents to go to find things for their kids and themselves to do. The site is clean and simple, with plenty of contributions from parents just like the people reading. Site integrates particularly well with social media sites, and gives parents a quick way to follow blogs on iGoogle.”

KC Parent Magazine won the Gold medal for Most Improved with judges noting, “Spiffy new cover design and typography and sleek new paper make this publication even feel different. Great addition of more how-to tips, and adding the hometowns of contributing writers gives it a 100% local flavor.” Lastly, KC Baby Magazine won silver for best cover!
