Project Day is Fun!

    If you’re like me, you have several projects you’d like to do around your home.  Again, if you’re like me, you might have a hard time fitting them in around school schedules and caring for little ones.  My friend and I were recently joking about how we’d be lucky to get to those projects by the time our children were bringing their children to visit.   As we laughed, we suddenly had an idea…What if we met for project day?

     Project day for us means we meet at one of our houses and tackle a project we’ve been wanting to do, but just haven’t gotten around to starting.  Recently, this meant sanding and priming my bathroom cabinets.  We worked while our children played.  My cabinets are primed and awaiting my final color choice and my children had a great time with their friends.

     In two weeks, I’ll pack up my two younger children and head to my friend’s house where hopefully we’ll make progress in project of her choice.  Last I heard , we’re planning to paint her front room.
