Sidewalk Chalk Popsicles

by

On hot and humid days, finding outdoor activities for kids to burn off some energy can be difficult. These sidewalk chalk Popsicles are great because kids can help with the process of making them and then will love playing with the chalk as it melts in the hot sun. This is such a fun twist on sidewalk chalk for those long summer days!

Materials Needed:

Step One: Mix the flour, water and dish soap together in a bowl.

Step Two: Separate the mixture into three separate bowls.

Step Three: Add a few tablespoons of washable paint to each bowl to create different colors.

Step Four: Pour the mixture into Popsicle molds and let it freeze for a few hours.

Step Five: After it is frozen, run some hot water over the Popsicle mold to make removing the sidewalk chalk easier.

Note: These popsicles are NOT edible.
