We are a small family-owned business, and the decision to close our business was not an easy one as it greatly affects our employees, our family, and our guests. For any guests with events booked during this period, we sincerely apologize and we will be reaching out immediately. In the meantime we will be maintaining our park to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness (https://www.urbanairtrampolinepark.com/…/trampoline-park-cl…). We look forward to welcoming you back to Urban Air soon. Sincerely, Nicole, Aimee & Jerrad

Wonderscope:  In consideration of public health concerns surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Wonderscope will close on Saturday, March 14, and remain closed for the foreseeable future.

Wyandotte County, KS:

Great Wolf Lodge: The health and safety of our guests and pack members is always our primary focus and it guides all decisions made at Great Wolf Lodge.  In response to COVID-19, we implemented enhanced sanitation measures at our resorts and provided CDC updates stating there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread through the use of pools or hot tubs.  We have had no reported positive COVID-19 cases within our guest or pack community.  However, with the recent focus from federal and state government officials on restricting large gatherings, we believe it is in the best interest of our guests and pack members to temporarily close all of our resorts and plan to re-open on April 2. The closure will be effective starting at 2 pm on Sunday, March 15, so that guests staying at the resort the evening of March 14 will have full use of the water park and recreational facilities before departing.  For all guests with reservations from the evening of March 15 through April 1, we will automatically cancel your reservation and provide a full refund.  Please be patient with us, as with the number of reservations that need to be canceled it may take 7-10 days before we’re able to process all refunds. This is an unprecedented and challenging time, and we are very appreciative of the overwhelming support from families like yours who enjoy spending time together at our resort. We look forward to welcoming you back after we re-open and hope to help your family create more fun-filled moments. We will continue to stay connected with federal and state health officials to monitor the ongoing situation and provide our guests with additional updates as warranted.  After the resort re-opens, we will continue following official health department recommendations and the enhanced sanitation measures we implemented for the well-being of our guests.

Legends Outlets:  Together we are capable of moving through these unprecedented times for a healthier tomorrow. Stay safe, friends, and we look forward to seeing you again. In the meantime, visit our website for a list of essential restaurants that will remain open: https://legendsshopping.com/news/delivery-and-curbside/

Sporting KC: In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's guidance to postpone events involving more than 50 people over the next eight weeks, Major League Soccer has extended the postponement of its matches during this period of time. MLS remains focused on playing the entire 2020 season and is evaluating all options, including pushing back the end of the season and playing MLS Cup in December, as the league did prior to the 2019 season. The league is also identifying other available dates. Throughout this process, MLS will continue to prioritize the safety of our fans, players, employees and partners and to coordinate with federal and local public health authorities as well as other sporting organizations.

Strawberry Hill Museum & Cultural Center:  Out of an abundance of caution for public health, we are CANCELLING this weekend's tours and events, with hopes of rescheduling the classes at some point in the future. Everyone stay safe! And wash those hands!

Turner Recreation Commission: The health and safety of our patrons is the number one priority here at Turner Recreation Commission. Due to the rapid rise of concern over the Coronavirus and the recent declarations of Emergency nationally and locally, Turner Recreation Commission has decided to postpone all programs and events and close the Recreation Center from 3/14/2020 through 3/23/2020. After which we will reevaluate the situation and make a decision regarding current and future programs and events as well as our Recreation Center. For more information, visit our website, www.turnerrec.org

YMCA of Greater Kansas City: YMCA of Greater Kansas City centers will temporarily close beginning at 3 p.m. Monday, March 16. Visit this page for more information on programs and schedules, as we continue to update.

Additional Kansas Attractions:

Cedar Cove: Cedar Cove is making adjustments to the current sociological conditions in order to follow best practices and do our best to help limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and as such: We will be CLOSED for weekend tours and general admission. We rely heavily on our admissions and donations from our guests and patrons, but prioritize the safety of our staff and community of supporters. The large volume of traffic we see on the weekends would make it nearly impossible to isolate and sanitize sufficiently and is certainly not prudent. We will re-evaluate the situation as advised by authorities after the weekend of April 5th. We will be OPEN for our Private, Scheduled weekday tours of SMALL GROUPS (10 and under) by appointment. We believe that the outdoor environment, small group size and information accountability will allow us to continue to operate with the best safe practices in place. Whatever the human environment may be, the animals under our watch still need food, cleaning, medical attention and care on a daily basis and our dedicated core staff is ensuring that there is no lapse in that care. To that end, we ask all our friends and supporters to act not only in their own best interests of health, but with a greater awareness of their communities and individuals who may need assistance at this time. Ironically, in this time of isolation we hope to find a greater coming together of the communities at large.

Cosmosphere: In alignment with best practices to help stop the spread of Coronavirus, the Cosmosphere will close effective Tuesday morning, March 17, 2020 with plans to reopen Wednesday, April 1.

Kansas Children's Discovery Center: As announced last night, in the interests of our community and the families we serve, the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center will temporarily close to the public for at least two weeks, beginning today, March 14, 2020. During our closure, the Discovery Center Education Team is still hard at work! We will be sharing information about how families can continue to engage in educational play at home at www.kansasdiscovery.org/home. Follow us here on Facebook for new ideas!

Prairie Park Nature Center: Following Health Dept guidelines, the city of Lawrence will be closing all of its recreation centers, as well as the Prairie Park Nature Center for the next 2 weeks. We regret that we will need to cancel all programs during this period of time. Refunds for all scheduled programs will be issued. During this time, nature center staff will be reporting for duty as usual and caring for the animals;. The park remains open to the public.

Strataca: As news continues to spread and the number of outbreaks spike, safety and proactive decision making are now more than ever our focus for our employees and our visitors. This pandemic affects us all, so it is pivotal that we hold tight to our values of being a SAFE world-class attraction. Therefore, we are still operating business as usual and welcome all guests to adventure underground!
