June 18 at Kansas City Zoo, 6800 Zoo Drive, Kansas City. Celebrate the king of your jungle with a relaxing day at the Kansas City Zoo! On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 18, Papa Bears will receive complimentary admission but the perks don’t stop there! The Zoo is honoring fathers with a day just for them, and their cubs of course! We’re taming the roar in Dad’s belly with a complimentary hot dog. Learn how dads of the Animal Kingdom take care of their families, especially Radi, who looks out for his gorilla troop, including two-year-old Masika. Visit the Helzberg Penguin Plaza and learn how important the male penguins are in the nesting and chick rearing process.

Father’s Day at Powell Gardens
June 18 at Powell Gardens, 1609 NW U.S. Highway 50, Kingsville. Enjoy a day of exploring the great outdoors with dads! All fathers received free admission at the gate. Explore this summer's exhibit: Gardens of Myth. Fantastic beasts from around the globe, inhabit Powell Gardens in an exhibit of mythical proportions. Encounter creatures as small as tiny fairies and as large as a fearsome 35-ft long dragon. Each sculpture was imagined by St. Louis-based artist Kendall R. Hart who, with the help of his team, hand-crafted each piece in his own Grimstone Studios.

The show starts with an introduction by the Ref, complete with rules, penalties and fouls and a few jokes thrown in for good measure. The teams then hit the playing field ready to earn your laughs and win your loyalty as they perform improvised scenes based on suggestion given by YOU, the audience! You'll be asked for suggestions. You'll be asked to decide your favorite team. You may even get asked to jump up on stage!

June 11-18 at Paradise Park, 1021 NE Colbern Road, Lee's Summit. Every week brings new stories, interactive performances or games, art projects and tasty treats in children's cooking during Adventure. It makes each of your weekly visits a NEW adventure! The theme changes every week, usually on Sunday. This week’s theme celebrates DADS! Boulevardia Father's Day Beer & BBQ Brunch
June 17 from 11am-2pm. Boulevardia is hosting a Father's Day Beer and BBQ Brunch on the festival grounds Saturday, June 17th. Ticket Includes: BBQ-inspired Brunch featuring delicious food and unlimited beverages, prime view of main stage at the festival, private restrooms, and general admission to the festival on Saturday, June 17th.
June 18 from 8am-3pm at Cineyard Church. Celebrate the dads in your life at Vineyard Church's second annual Dadfest. We'll have a car show, food trucks, family games, an exotic petting zoo, inflatables, an obstacle course, and a BBQ contest. Invite all the guys who've made a positive impact in your life to Dadfest. All activities are free except food trucks.
