Cinemark Theatres Summer Movie Clubhouse: Two local Cinemark locations: the Country Club Plaza 526 Nichols Rd, KC, MO and Merriam 5500 Antioch, Merriam, KS. Shows run Mon-Thursday at 10am and Noon.  Purchase 10 Movies Passes for $5.00, or tickets can be purchased separately at the box office for $1.00 per show. Admission with a series punch card is limited to one person per card per movie, and valid only at the theatre where purchased. All films that have been selected are rated either G or PG. Alamo Kids Camp: Alamo Drafthouse Main Street Cinema 1400 Main St., KC, MO. FREE Summer Movies in Kansas City 2017

FREE Moonlight Movies on the Square: Independence Moonlight Movies are shown every Thursday at 9pm throughout the summer starting June 15. The movies are projected onto the side of the Pharaoh Theatre on the Independence Square. This summer's features include June 15: Sing. June 22: Secret Life of Pets. June 29: Despicable Me 2. July 6: Kubo and the Two Strings. July 13: Cars. July 20: Moana. July 27: Finding Dory. August 3: Lego Batman Movie. Note: This is an outdoor event and will cancel in bad weather. www.freemoonlightmovies.com

Moo-vies at the Farmstead June 22, 7:30-10:30pm at Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead 13800 Switzer Rd. Overland Park, KS. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join us for our first ever Moo-vie Night at the Farmstead. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. Moo-vie begins at dusk. The movie is Charlotte's Web, E.B. White's charming tale of a spider that befriends a piglet. Rated G. Run time 96 minutes

Free Movies in City Market Park on the final Fridays of June and July! City Market Park (3rd & Main) and Kansas City's beautiful skyline are the setting for neighbors from the surrounding communities to gather together on a summer evening and enjoy cult classic feature films. Admission is free. Come early and enjoy dinner at your favorite City Market restaurant and then head over to City Market Park for the signature Alamo Drafthouse pre-show at 8:30 p.m., and movies begin at 9:00 p.m. 2017 Schedule: June 30: The Life Aquatic (Rated R) Wear your red beanie or catch one in our beanie launch. And, July 28: The Big Lebowski (Rated R) Wear your bathrobe or bowling shirt, and you’ll be eligible to win prizes! Bring your lawn chair, blanket and cooler. FREE Movies in the Park: Lenexa Pack your lawn chairs and blankets and bring your family to enjoy an evening under the stars at one of our Movie in the Park events. We are partnering with Johnson County Library for these events. June 10: Lego Movie. July 8: Willy Wonka. Aug. 12: The Little Rascals. Sept. 15: The Mighty Ducks.

Popcorn in the Park: Liberty Bennett Park in Liberty, MO. Presented by Liberty Parks and Recreation, Popcorn in the Park is a FREE, fun, family friendly outdoor movie screening. Enjoy free popcorn while you watch the movie. You may also bring your own snacks and beverages. Please remember, alcohol is strictly prohibited. Don't forget to bring your blankets and lawn chairs. This summer's features include May 26: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Aug. 25: Zootopia.

FREE Movies in the Park: Blue Springs  Rotary Park, 600 NW Vesper St., Blue Springs, MO. Grab a blanket or bring your lawn chair and head to Rotary park for a FREE outdoor movie and popcorn under the stars. This summer's features include June 16:  Moana . August 4: Surf's Up.

Movie Night at the Barn July 22 at 9pm at Shawnee Town 1929. Bring your lawn chairs, sleeping bags, blankets and cushions were spread out all over the lawn and driveway in front of the farmstead's barn and much popcorn and drink lemonade. The evening begins with something new - a cartoon starring Mickey Mouse in "Steamboat Willie." Then, one of Charlie Chaplin's greatest films, the romantic comedy "City Lights." Weekender at Crown Center Festivities begin at 5 p.m., music at 6 p.m., movie at approximately 9 p.m. Cap off your work week with top local bands and favorite food trucks. KC Library Off the Wall Series Movies on the second Friday of the month. Doors open at 8 p.m.Screenings begin at 8:45 p.m. at Central Library, 14 W. 10th St., KCMO on Rooftop Terrace, 5th Floor. Bring blankets and folding chairs (no glass containers, please!) to the Rooftop Terrace of the Central Library for an evening of downtown KC skyline cinema while enjoying popcorn provided by the Friends of the Library. FREE Saturday Night Summer Movies: Briarcliff Village Briarcliff Trails of our Community proudly presented free outdoor movies for the whole family to enjoy! Movies are shown on Saturday nights during the summer at approx. 8:45 p.m./dusk at Mulberry Lake across from The Village at Briarcliff. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and snacks! A Night Out and Movie at Macken Park 1002 East 27th Ave, North Kansas City, MO. Bring your family to Macken Park. There will also be food trucks and other activities for your family to enjoy. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, the movies will beginn at dusk.  This summer's features include June 23: Tomorrowland. July 28: Inside Out.

Frozen in July July 6 at 11:30am at Mid-Continent Public Library - Parkville Branch, 8815 Tom Watson Pkwy., Parkville, MO. Free. Be ready to enjoy some cool summer reading fun "Frozen" style. We will watch the sing-a-long version of "Frozen." We will sing and play along with this popular movie. Ages 4 and up. Registration is required.

Movies and Music in the Park: Gardner Cornerstone Park, 215 N. Center, Gardner, KS. This summer's features include Aug. 12: Monsters University. Sept. 9: TBD.

FREE Movies in the Park: Harrisonville FREE Summer Movies at the City Park Amphitheater! Bring your families, blankets & lawn chairs and enjoy a fun-filled evening watching a free movie under the stars in your very own Harrisonville City Park! Movies start at dusk! Concessions will also be available to enjoy! This summer's features include June 23: Trolls. July 21: Ice Age; Collision Course.

FREE Movie Night in the Park: Oak Grove Bring the whole family out to Webb Park to enjoy some time together!  There will be a movie shown outdoors on the big screen.  So bring your blankets and chairs and settle in for a night under the stars. If there is bad weather, the movie will be rescheduled.  Movies will be announced closer to event dates.  And be sure to check out the special "Dive In Movie Night" that will be held at the Oak Grove Pool on Friday, July 14th!
