The Missouri State Fair is taking place in Sedalia, MO from August 8-18. For the animals lovers there are pig races and a petting zoo. You can watch young people prepare and show their sheep, cattle, goats, and other animals. On the adventure side there are cowboy mounted shootings and rodeos.

For those interested in motorcycle races there is the Motocross race featuring motorcycles and quads, the Flat Track TT race featuring Quads, Motorcycles, Lawnmowers and Outlaw Go-Carts, and the Antique, Classic and Farm Tractor Pull. Guys will certainly enjoy this aspect of the Missouri State Fair.

On the entertainment side of things there are different bands performing each night; including Chris Cagle and Will Hoge, Foreigner and Starship featuring Mickey Thomas, The Oak Ridge Boys 40th Anniversary Tour, Lee Brice and Tyler Farr, Three Days Grace and Hinder, and many other artists. You could even be a performer in the 2013 Missouri State Fair Idol Contest! Click here for details: http://www.mostatefair.com/missouri-state-fair-idol.

There are other things to attend as well such as a carnival, a circus and a “Knights of Valour” presentation. All of these great things are taking place at the Missouri State Fair. You can enjoy all of these things and more for just $6 if you purchase your tickets before August 7 (some activities require a separate purchase).
