Back in the Swing!

I love the "Back in the Swing" Retail Therapy event that happens every year in Kansas City. You can buy a "shopping pass" for $25 and that purchase goes to help breast cancer survivors in the Kansas City area. Your shopping pass allows you to get discounts (up to 20%) at over 800 participating retailers & restaurants during the week of the event. This year's event starts TOMORROW (October 12th) and runs through October 18th.  If you did not already buy a shopping pass online, you can buy one anytime this week at one of these participating retailers or at Hen House stores.

I like to use my shopping pass to buy things that rarely go on sale or things that haven't gone on sale yet (like winter coats, Halloween costumes, Christmas outfits for the kids, etc).  It's also a great time to get a leg up on that Christmas shopping list!  You can save on everything from kitchen accessories to jewelry to home decor and, of course, clothes!  And a couple of dinners out after all of that shopping are great at 20% off, as well!  There really is something for everyone and a participating store (or 20) in every part of town.
