This soda fountain is very charming and a nice addition to the Merriam community; it is so special what they have tried to create for local customers.

The bar and dining area look brand new and is always very clean.

The employees are very friendly and great with children. They really make them feel special and welcome at this establishment. They are also a "fount" of knowledge when telling the history behind soda fountains and the old-fashioned drink recipes.

Their specialty is phosphates (carbonated simple syrup beverages), although they have many other types of drinks, coffee, and ice cream available. They also offer a small food menu.

Best of all, the menu prices are very reasonable. Three phosphates only come to around $2, depending on the size. The cute retro glasses the tiny tot sizes are served in are only 25 cents, for example.

Some phosphate flavors to try are: Cherry, Chocolate, and Green River.

*Note: Since this is a small specialty business, it is best to call ahead and make sure the Soda Fountain is open for business at that time, on the off chance a server was needed in the pharmacy.
