At Paradise Park your family can enjoy a variety of fun activities, including laser tag, escape room, bumper cars, go-karts, batting cages, miniature golf, a rock wall and arcade games. The favorite attraction for little tykes is the Children’s EduTainment Center, with everything from a miniature grocery store and bank, to an indoor water play exhibit and art center with face paints and special projects with children in mind. Dine at the Paradise Café, where you can enjoy pizza, nachos and sandwiches. For traditional family fun, visit one of Kansas City’s family fun centers. Main Event offers three locations, one in Olathe, one in the Northland and one in Independence, with bowling, billiards, laser tag, arcades, obstacle courses and more. Urban Air in Overland Park, Above All in Liberty, Sky Zone in Lee’s Summit and Shawnee and Get Air in Independence are indoor trampoline parks with special play hours and packages for all ages, from toddlers to teens. The Crossroads District in Kansas City is a favorite fun spot for adults. Tapcade KC is an arcade-themed restaurant also featuring the Screenland Theater, where you can catch classic films on the big screen. Up-Down is an arcade bar with video games, pinball and skee-ball. On the first Friday of the month, more than 10,000 residents and visitors head to the cultural arts district for free peeks at galleries and studios, delicious treats from food trucks and local restaurants, and entertainment from street performers and buskers showcasing their talent. Christopher Elbow Chocolates even sells their gourmet edible works of art for $1 apiece during First Fridays.
