Love Letters

I am guessing tonight might be the “tipping point.” The exact moment is to be determined, but I can feel it coming. With the swarms of people out and about, school wrapping up for winter break and winter weather threatening, I can feel the accumulative amount of stress rising from Kansas City’s homes. It is “theholidayseason” and the moms in this town have to-do lists stretching to Denver (if the highways were open). I am not exactly the greatest at side-stepping the fussiness of the holidays, either. But, try to take a deep breath at least once today. And tell someone you love them. That’s what we’re all getting together for anyway, right?

LOVE Letters

In an effort to keep perspective, I decided to implement an idea I’ve been working on for a while...a love wall! I want to make sure my girls always know they’re loved, and especially understand why. I am hoping I’ll keep it updated at least weekly and that they’ll look forward to finding new notes. I am sure the last thing you need right now is another project, but file this one away and on a rainy day you can hang your L-O-V-E letters, too. (Get it?!)

I got my L-O-V-E letters at Michael’s and painted them with chalkboard paint and hung them on a wall in our entry hallway. Simply grab a piece of chalk and tell them why you love them! It’ll mean more than all of the gifts Santa can carry, and won’t need new batteries in January. Lots of love to you and your families!
