Participate in Pirate Pandemonium

The Boardwalk Library is hosting a FREE event for children ages 5 and up on October 01, 2011 from 2-3pm. Enjoy an hour of rollicking pirate fun. Shiver me timbers, children will hear tales of bravery on the seven seas, sing crusty pirate songs and play games aboard ship. On the poop deck, make some treasures to take on your voyage home. After the fun of the landlubbers swabbing the deck and walking the plank, finish your sea voyage with a feast fit for a young pirate lad and lass. Feel free to come attired in your best pirate duds. Take a Hayride... with Pirates!

Missouri Town hosts Spirits from the Past on October 28-29. Your Halloween will take on new dimensions as you spend an evening at Missouri Town’s “Spirits From The Past”! The entire antebellum village comes alive with ghosts, spooks, goblins and other scary creatures. As you walk down luminary lit paths, ghostly interpreters will provide treats for the children.
