Places to Visit in Weston, Missouri

by

With a population of less than 2,000, Weston, Missouri may be small, but it’s definitely big in charm and character. In the city’s downtown area, you’ll find lots of stores and restaurants to visit. Below are eight Weston businesses that are worth taking a day trip.

Historic Weston Orchard & Vineyard

Enjoy a u-pick apple orchard, u-pick pumpkin patch, hayrack rides, apple cannons, rat racers, bouncing pillow, low ropes course with zip line, kids corn maze, vintage carousel, petting zoo and more! When you need a break grab an apple cider slushy, apple cider donuts and some caramel apples in the cider barn.  Wine tastings and wine slushies are a great way to relax after picking and playing. Celtic Ranch

Celtic Ranch is a store that describes itself as “a little piece of Ireland.” You can buy T-shirts, scarves, socks, jewelry, and more all themed around Irish culture and style. A lot of their merchandise is handcrafted and imported from Ireland. Meanwhile, adults can purchase authentic Irish whiskey and partake in whiskey tastings in the Whiskey Snug in the back of the store.

The Candy Jar

To satisfy your sweet tooth, The Candy Jar is the place to go. It’s full of candy new and old, but it specializes in older candy to remind some people of their childhoods. As well as the candy you know and love here in America, you can find a few international candies, like chocolate bars from across the pond.

Else-Wares

Else-Wares is a cleverly-named store “inspired by other places and other times” that sells vintage and antique items. It has a large selection of old books, furniture, fine china, and more.

La Bella Cucina Italian Market

If you’ve always dreamed of traveling to Italy, step inside La Bella Cucina Italian Market. This store sells everything you need to make authentic Italian food from your own kitchen. You can buy dry pasta made in Italy, authentic spices and sauces, and cookies for dessert. You’ll also find pottery made in Italy and lots of fun kitchen utensils.

The Farmer’s House

At The Farmer’s House, you can buy anything from jarred jams to kitchen gadgets to baby toys. What makes this place unique, though, is its mission to help youth and adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities succeed by offering employment opportunities. Outside of the Weston market, The Farmer’s House has other programs such as catering, an art studio, and a garden.

Tin Kitchen

While there are many restaurants in Weston, Tin Kitchen is a personal favorite. The menu has all kinds of barbecue and Southern-style dishes. If you love comfort food, if a plate of pulled pork with a side of mac and cheese speaks to you, Tin Kitchen is an excellent choice. As an added bonus, the service is very fast and good.

1837 Emporium

Another collectibles and antiques store, 1837 Emporium has a variety of items, including old books and music, vintage clothing, home decor, and more. It’s also a place to buy homemade jewelry and art, such as unique stained glass art.
