Popsicles in the Park
Looking for a FREE fun way to cool off this summer! Make plans to attend Independence Missouri's Popsicles in the Park! Enjoy free entertainment, family fun, and popsicles for kids! The events are designed for children ages 2-8 and occur from 6:30-8pm on Tuesdays at different locations each week with live children's concerts, puppet shows, art projects, and free popsicles!

From 6:30-8pm, every Tuesday through July
- June 19 at Fairmount Park, 300 N. Homes Ave. Enjoy a concert by Dinosaur O'Dell & puppet show from Piccadilly Productions.
- June 26 at Cler-Mont Park, 19009 E. Susquehanna Ridge. Enjoy a concert by The La La's and puppet show from Piccadilly Productions.
- July 3 at Glendale Park, 3249 S Lees Summit Rd. Enjoy a concert by Dinosaur O'Dell & puppet show.
- July 10 at Country Club Park, 2930 S. Norton Ave.. Enjoy a concert by Dinosaur O'Dell & puppet show.
- July 17 at Bundschu Park, 11400 E 9th St S. Enjoy a Drum Safari concert & puppet show.
- July 24 at George Owens Nature Park, 1601 S. Speck Rd. Enjoy a concert by Maurico Salguero & puppet show.
