Q: If you could tell a tourist to do only one thing in KC it would be ____. And why?

- Union Station! From the free train display and play area, to Science City, IMAX and unique exhibits, you can spend the whole day there entertaining the whole family. Throw in Pierponts and the beauty of the building, and it just can't be beat ~ Crystal Kent

- Spend a Saturday shopping for antiques and boutique treasures in the West Bottoms, then head over to the Amigoni Winery for a taste testing in their tasting room. ~ Brandy Babcock

- On a Saturday, enjoy a ride on the KC Northern Railroad Train and hiking trails at Line Creek. You can't beat 50-cent train rides and great exercise while exploring the creek! ~ Dana Boman

- Visit Loose Park. The park itself is a great treasure. The rose garden is beautiful, and the play areas are perfect for little ones. Lots of open space to fly kites, walk, picnic and let your kids explore. ~ Jen Abernathy
- Tour the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial. The exhibits are amazing, and the view of the city is spectacular. ~ Stacy Miller
- Visit City Market and be sure to stop by the Habashi House. Nuts, seeds, grains and dried fruit that cost less per pound than what the grocers sell 6 ounces for. They know you by face there and know exactly what you buy. ~ Kim Fallen
