We take a lunch break at a neat little restaurant inside Crown Center called Fritz's Railroad Restaurant. The kids love the train circling around. The train even delivers your food! ~ Amy Hall

Savoy Grill. My husband took me on a date there about six years ago—even got Harry Truman's favorite booth and they played the violin for me! It was super sweet and so much history there! It’s neat to show it off to out-of-towners! ~ Amanda Graham

The World War I Museum at the Liberty Memorial. It's a state-of-the-art interactive museum and the only museum in the nation dedicated exclusively to World War I. Be sure to check out the French tank that turned out to have ties to Kansas City. ~ Amanda Frost-Berridge
