A Relaxing Stay at Westgate Branson Lakes Resort

by

Branson is a favorite family destination for Kansas Citians. With Silver Dollar City, Table Rock Lake, a variety of live shows, thrilling mountain coasters, fantastic go-kart courses, and a myriad of attractions, there's so much to do and enjoy less than five hours from home!

Branson boasts many lodging options, but for our family, we always appreciate a place that is relaxing, quiet (I prefer something off the Branson Strip), and with plenty of space to rest. It's even better if you can find lodging with a kitchen, beautiful scenery, and on-site family fun.

Westgate Branson Lakes Resort offers all of that and more! This resort is a perfect spot for families who want a place to relax and unwind after exploring local attractions. They offer a variety of fun amenities the kids love, and clean comfortable luxurious accommodations parents appreciate. Guests may choose one or two-bedroom villas, just minutes from Table Rock Lake State Park (our favorite place to rent a boat and enjoy a day on the lake in Missouri) and many wonderful local attractions.

We recently stayed at the newly renovated Westgate Branson Lakes Resort and enjoyed terrific accommodations and beautiful views! The villa featured a fully stocked kitchen and balcony overlooking Table Rock Lake (I think it is the prettiest lake in Missouri). The villa has been recently renovated with beautiful, comfortable, furnishings! The room was spacious and clean - perfectly comfortable for our family.

In addition to the beautiful place to spend the night, Westgate Branson Lakes Resort offers many great options to relax and enjoy family time during the day. We took advantage of the outdoor pool and hot tub, but they also offer a beautiful heated indoor pool and hot tub as well. Tip:  Take a virtual tour of the accommodations to choose the perfect villa for your family.

My girls played a round of miniature golf on their course (included free for resort guests) and a friendly game of Sand Volleyball. Guests may also take advantage of the outdoor Basketball Court, Fitness Center, table tennis, and arcade room. If you are looking for a place to vacation with extended family or friends, this is a great place for reunions with shelters and spaces for group gatherings as well.

The lodging includes a kitchen if you bring your own food, or you may eat at Drafts Sports Grill at Westgate Branson Woods Resort (2201 Roark Valley Road, Branson, MO 65616). On-site at Westgate Branson Lakes Resort you may purchase food items in their Marketplace located adjacent to the lobby. And, of course, Branson is home to many wonderful restaurants as well. We love to bring our own food for breakfast and dinner when traveling. We find it is healthier, cheaper, and after a long day at theme parks or attractions, the kids are ready for a nice quiet meal "at home." The Villas offer a perfect homey atmosphere to relax after a day of fun.

If you're looking for family-friendly accommodations during your first, or next, Branson getaway, we highly recommend Westgate Branson Lakes Resort.
