Celebrate Presidents All Month Long in KC

by

Originally set aside as a day to honor Washington and Lincoln, Presidents Day is now a day to remember and honor all U.S. presidents. Celebrate the presidency locally with these outings:

Starring Abe Lincoln, presented by Theatre for Young America, Feb. 3-14. A born performer and fan of live theater, President Abraham Lincoln takes the stage of the Ford Theatre in Washington, D.C.  With his signature humor, he recounts and reenacts his life story, including his historic relationship with Frederick Douglass, who was the leading Civil Rights activist of his time and a factor in Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation.
