Wooden Snowman

Directions:

  1. Paint the piece of wood white with the larger paintbrush. You might need to paint more than one layer of paint. Let dry completely.
  2. Once paint is dry, add your scarf and/or hat to determine the right spacing.
  3. With the pencil, mark where you will paint the eyes, carrot nose, mouth, blush on checks and buttons.
  4. Remove the scarf and hat while you paint on the eyes, nose, mouth and buttons in black with the smaller paintbrush.
  5. Paint the blush spots on the checks.
  6. Paint on the carrot nose.
  7. Let dry completely.
  8. Replace the scarf and hat.
  9. Find a spot in your home or outside for your new snowman friend!
  10. Optional:  Add handprints and the year to the back of the snowman.
