Zona Rosa Celebrates the Season with the Northland Community
Zona Rosa, the Northland’s premier shopping center located at I-29 and Barry Road, will celebrate the season with ice skating, an outdoor holiday movie, the annual tree lighting ceremony, 10 Days of Holiday GIFTaways, free gift wrapping from Synergy Services, Red Kettle Salvation Army bell ringers, visits from Santa, and a pajama party with the man himself and so much more for the whole family. Everyone is welcome to experience the holiday season at Zona Rosa.
ICE SKATING AT THE RINK
Friday, November 11 through January 31, 2023
- The Northland’s newest ice rink is back at Zona Rosa this winter season. The Rink at Zona Rosa is open daily from early November through end of January 2023 for public ice skating, pond hockey, special events and more. Visit www.zonarosa.com/therink for skate times, costs, passes and pond hockey.
ANNUAL HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING, presented by Saint Luke’s North Hospital
Saturday, November 19 from 4:00-6:00PM
- Celebrate the start of the holiday season at Zona Rosa with the annual Holiday Tree Lighting, presented by Saint Luke’s North Hospital, in North Park. Fox 4’s Karli Ritter will help light the tree and welcome Santa to the stage. Enjoy live bands, food trucks, a special Nutcracker performance by a Pricilla and Dana’s Dance Studio, the iconic crowns and of course the 55’ Christmas Tree at the very center of it all and so much more!
- Santa will make his arrival at 6pm to turn on the holiday lights.

Browse through trending look from all seasons, as well as purses, shoes and other accessories. SANTA ARRIVES
Friday, November 25 through December 24
- Whether you have been naughty or nice, put on your best holiday sweater, bring your wish list and head to The Grove because Santa Claus is coming to town. Visit Santa in his winter wonderland November 25th through December 24th. Visits with Santa are complimentary. Personal photos are permitted with the purchase of a photo package. SPECIAL SANTA PHOTO DAYS
- Pet Photos with Santa: November 28, December 5 & December 12, 3:00-7:00PM
- Bring your furry friends to meet Santa and get a photo.
- Sensory-Friendly Santa Photos: December 4 & December 11, 11:00AM-NOON
- Special reserved time for children with sensory sensitivities can visit Santa in a calm, quiet setting, one hour before the set opens to the public. Reservations recommended.
PJ PARTY WITH SANTA: Friday, December 2, 5:30-7:30PM at North Park
- The fun starts at 5:30pm so don’t be late. Dress in your best pajamas and enjoy free milk, cookies & a holiday children’s book (one per family).
- Snag a photo with Santa, snap photos by the Christmas tree and grab a selfie with Willard our 7 ft reindeer.
- Head to The Rink for some ice-skating fun with Elves and one receive one free hot chocolate if you’re skating in your jammies.
- This is a FREE community event but we are asking for each family to bring a mac & cheese cup donations for our partners at Feed Northland Kids (FNK). FNK supports hungry children and families in our Northland Community.
- This is an outdoor event — make sure to wear those hats, gloves and coats to stay warm while you enjoy the festivities!
ZONA ROSA GIVES BACK DURING THE HOLIDAYS
- Angel Tree with Salvation Army
- If you’d like to help a family in need, visit the Angel Tree located inside The Grove. Take a tag off the tree and bring back unwrapped gifts for children.
- Synergy Services Pop-up
- Synergy Services will have a space in North Park where they'll be collecting clothing donations (specifically cold weather gear like hats, gloves, blankets) for free gift wrap. Staff and volunteers will be on site Thursday - Saturday in the space next to Brow Threading.
- Look for the Red Kettle!
- Salvation Army ringers will be on property throughout the center until December 24 collecting donations for those in need.
