Back in the summer we made a family "Summer Fun List" with our list of everything we wanted to do during the summer season. I'm proud to say that we fit almost everything on our list into our 2 months of summer fun. But I was thinking that we should come up with a Christmas Season Fun list, too! And here is what we came up with:
1. Watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade
2. Drive around and look at Christmas lights (this includes our neighborhood and the Plaza lights)
3. Ride a train (need to research this one a little!)
4. Watch Christmas Movies (Polar Express and The Grinch (original) are two of our favorites)
5. Visit Santa Claus!
6. Make a gingerbread house
7. Donate toys to Toys for Tots or to our church's Angel Tree
8. Go sledding (come on, Gary Lezak...let's have a nice good snow before Christmas!)
9. Make an Advent Wreath
10. Ice Skating at Crown Center
We've already crossed one off our list...we visited the Crown Center Ice Terrace today and had a blast! It was much more fun to go when it was nice and warm outside than it was last year when it was freezing cold and raining! :)
We've got a lot of fun to have in the next month and a half...I hope you all will plan a lot of fun for your families this holiday season as well!
