Snowman Snowball Poppers
When it’s too cold for outdoor activities, these Snowman Snowball Poppers are a cute and cheap way to spend some time creating, laughing and playing inside! Mix it up and swap out the cotton balls for craft pompoms. Even better, swap the cotton balls for marshmallows, then do an add-on activity to make Rice Krispies treats (if you don’t eat all the marshmallows first)! Stay in and stay cozy as you make memories together with this simple craft!

Supplies:
- Scissors
- 3-oz. white plastic cups
- White balloons
- Washi or painter’s tape
- Sharpies
- Cotton balls
Directions:

- Use scissors to cut out the bottom of the plastic cups, then set aside. (This is a job best suited for older children or adults.)
- Blow up the balloon to stretch it out, then deflate it.
- Cut off a small piece off the top of the balloon.
- Pull the balloon over the bottom of the cup. (Tip: We found that pulling the balloon all he way over the top of the cup worked best to keep the balloon on.)
- Tie the bottom of the balloon.
- Add tape around the middle of the cup to help hold the balloon in place. This will be your snowman’s scarf.
- Use Sharpies to draw on the snowman’s face and buttons.
- Repeat for additional snowmen.
- Place your cotton balls inside your snowmen, then stretch and release the knotted end of the balloon to start your indoor snowball fight!
