Disney on Ice returned to the T-Mobile Center for its 2025 debut on Thursday, March 20, running for three days through March 23.

Howling monkeys, four-legged giraffes, zebras, and antelope with enormous heads encircled Pride Rock, bringing The Lion King’s iconic "Circle of Life" scene to life. But this wasn’t just any reenactment—it was performed on ice, making Simba’s ascent to the throne even more breathtaking. My daughters gleefully sang along to Hakuna Matata, jumping out of their seats to cheer as ice-skating Timon, Pumbaa, Rafiki, and Nala twirled onto the rink.
Disney on Ice returned to the T-Mobile Center for its 2025 debut on Thursday, March 20, running for three days through March 23. With multiple showtimes and special ticket options to meet the characters, there was plenty of Disney magic to go around.

This year’s show was hosted by DJ Mickey Mouse, along with Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. Classic Disney songs got a techno remix as these beloved characters introduced featured favorites like Wish, Frozen 2, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Moana. The arena was packed with kids and adults dressed for the occasion. My girls, decked out as Moana and Cinderella, were absolutely mesmerized—staying glued to the show for the full two-hour run time.
The skating alone was worth the price of admission. Talented performers glided across the rink, executing incredible jumps, spins, and lifts—all while wearing extravagant costumes! But the spectacle didn’t stop there. High-flying acrobatics left us gasping, especially when six of Triton’s daughters spun inside suspended hula hoops high above the ice. The lighting effects, fire pillars, and well-timed pyrotechnic pops added even more drama to each scene.

On the drive home, our family debated which act stole the show. The Little Mermaid wowed us with its dazzling skating and aerial stunts, while The Lion King stood out for its jaw-dropping costumes. My youngest couldn’t stop talking about Moana, while my oldest giggled about the trampoline scene where Sebastian nearly became the chef’s dinner. In the end, we came to one unanimous decision: every featured Disney story was our favorite.

Concessions are available but pricey. Eat a good meal before you go. Outside food is not allowed, but we like to bring empty water bottles to fill up inside the venue.
Parking garages are plentiful, with prices ranging from $15 to $30. We used ParkWhiz to reserve a spot in advance at the KCP&L garage.
T-Mobile and Mint Mobile customers can skip the crowds by entering through the exclusive pink carpet runway. We felt like VIPs!
Dress up! Many kids wear Disney ears, princess dresses, Buzz Lightyear suits, and more.
Street vendors sell flashy toys at high prices. Bring your own wands or light-up toys, or grab something from the dollar store beforehand.
Diaper bags are allowed but will be searched. To bypass long lines, pack light or bring a clear bag if you have one.
