Oakhill Day School

Every parent wants a child prepared to navigate the ups and downs that life brings once they live and work away from home. At Oakhill Day School, we believe that the foundation of learning and success begins early and continues through critical formative years. Oakhill students begin their journey filled with curiosity, wonder, and eagerness to explore, and as they grow, that curiosity transforms into creativity, confidence, and a passion for lifelong learning.
Oakhill Day School’s Early Childhood division nurtures our youngest learners—from Pretoddler (18-months) through Prekindergarten—with a balanced approach that fosters social-emotional development alongside foundational academic concepts. Students explore math, science, communication arts, Spanish, music, physical education, and Innovation Lab activities that enrich their learning experiences and promote independence.
In Lower School, students in Kindergarten through Third Grade build strong academic foundations in reading, writing, math, and science while developing time management, organization, and leadership skills. Through hands-on and creative learning, students engage deeply with a curriculum that encourages critical thinking and joyful discovery.
As learners transition into the Intermediate Division (4th–5th Grade), Oakhill provides opportunities for greater independence and collaboration. Students refine study habits, develop personal responsibility, and tackle more complex academic challenges with guidance and support.
In Middle School (6th–8th Grade), students continue to grow as thinkers and leaders. They are encouraged to embrace new life experiences, pursue their interests, and prepare academically and socially for future success. Signature programs like the Mission Possible Projects help students build research, communication, and real-world problem-solving skills as they complete their middle school journey.
Oakhill offers students Pretoddler (18-months) through 8th grade a right-sized classroom learning environment where dedicated faculty know each student personally and support their academic, social, and emotional growth every step of the way.

We meet our students where they are
Our small class sizes allow teachers to know students personally and adapt instruction to meet individual learning styles. We recognize that every child is unique, and success looks different for every learner.
Maintain consistency!
Oakhill emphasizes consistency across schedules, classes, and experiences. Core academic classes are complemented by daily specials such as Art, Spanish, Innovation Lab, Music, and Physical Education—all integrated into the regular school day to enrich learning for every student.
Support the whole family!
We support students and families with on-site resources, including wellness and academic guidance, ensuring additional reassurance and care when needed. Our goal is to help every student become the best version of themselves.
Student success is our #1 priority!
Balance is how we lead students to success. Oakhill students are encouraged to work hard and play hard in a safe, nurturing environment. We know today’s families juggle many commitments, so we focus on helping students build resilience, adaptability, and confidence to take on whatever life brings.
