Pee Wee’s Walk – A Community Walk for Hope and Healing

Join KC Mothers in Charge for the 8th Annual Pee Wee’s Walk, a family-friendly community walk supporting Kansas City families affected by homicide and violent loss.

Named in honor of Antonio “Pee Wee” Thompson, the son of KC Mothers in Charge founder Rosilyn Temple, this event brings families and neighbors together to remember loved ones and support those navigating grief after violence.

Proceeds support trauma-informed services for families, including crisis response and support groups. Families, teams, and community supporters are all welcome to walk.

Together, we walk for hope and healing in Kansas City.
