For one magical night a year, Lenexa’s most popular park transforms into an enchanted forest filled with not-too-spooky delights for young kids and families. Hop on a hayride, paint a pumpkin and stroll around Rose’s Pond for puppet shows, musicians, magic shows, Halloween displays and charming performances. Free. Lenexa.com/Enchanted
While this event focuses on entertainment rather than trick-or-treating, a limited amount of candy will be available at sponsor booths, thanks to their generosity.
Costumes are welcome but not required.
