Grand Opening Weekend at Magpie Creative Reuse

[Kansas City, MO] – Magpie Creative Reuse Collective is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new location – a creative reuse hub – with a full weekend of affordable classes, hands-on activities, live music, tours, and community celebration on March 7th and 8th.
Magpie Creative Reuse Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to keeping usable materials out of the trash and in the hands of makers, educators, and artists. By collecting and redistributing donated materials, Magpie fuels innovation, promotes sustainability, and reconnects community through creative practice and education.
The Grand Opening Weekend features low-cost classes, family-friendly activities, live entertainment, food vendors, and opportunities to explore and shop the new space.
“The hub is a place for artists and makers of all ages and all interests to find used materials for creative projects,” said Karen Sullivan, President of Magpie’s Executive Board.
