Kaleidoscope Sensory-Friendly Art Sessions

Kaleidoscope is a FREE, hands‑on art‑making space in Kansas City designed for kids ages 4 to 12. On the second Saturday of each month, Kaleidoscope offers Sensory-Friendly Sessions, creating a calmer, more supportive studio experience while still providing all the creativity and fun of hands-on art making.

Dedicated Sensory-Friendly session time runs from 9:15 to 9:45 AM on the second Saturday of the month, featuring a quieter environment and adaptive materials to meet a variety of sensory needs.

At 9:45 AM, the studio transitions into its regularly scheduled first session, and additional walk‑in guests are welcome to join. Families participating in the Sensory Friendly Session may choose to continue creating as the studio becomes more active, or they may wrap up whenever they feel ready.

Schools and groups of 15 or more may schedule weekday visits by reservation.
