KC Family Bike Ride

A no-drop, 3-mile ride from Brookside Park to KC Bier Co along the Trolley Track Trail.

These slow rides encourage families of all ages and abilities to get on their bikes! We take the pace of the slowest rider, even if they are on a stride bike. “No-drop” means that no one will be left behind. We have a ride leader and a “sweep” who stays with the slowest group. The route is designed for families to choose the distance that works for them, with easy turn-back options. The group typically hangs at KC Bier Co for a pretzel or two. Families can then ride back on their own time.

Trolley Track rides meet at the Brookside Park baseball diamond (56th & Brookside) at 10am on the 1st & 3rd Sundays in June, July, Sept, & Oct. August is too hot & too crazy with the back-to-school shuffle.

Scooters & strollers welcome but may be difficult on the crushed gravel trail.
